Criteria for applying

What matters the most in the selection process are circular economy solutions – the ones that inspire the world towards the circular economy and therefore deserve their spotlight at the WCEF2018 Expo Area. We welcome both small and large actors, companies, organisations as well as consortiums to apply. In the selection, we value different perspectives to the circular economy and solutions which benefit the circular economy globally (e.g. product life extension, product as a service, sharing platforms, resource efficiency, bio-based products, renewable energy, recycling and recovery of products and materials).

The applicant must commit to be actively present at the WCEF2018 Expo Area during the entire duration of WCEF2018 event on 22-23 October in Yokohama, Japan. No trading, commerce or sales activities is allowed at the Expo Area.

Expo area characteristics

The Expo Area will consist of a selection of around 20 stands. Area for each stand is 2mx2m and the stands will have a fixed form (desk and a panel). The Expo Area stand is free of charge for the selected hosts. However, the Expo Area hosts will cover their own travel expenses. Please note that WCEF2018 is organised according to circular economy principles – do not bring future waste to the stands.
