Dr. Aleš Mihelič has experience from crash studies to technology and innovation policies.
After graduating, he worked as a developer in a bus production company, where he performed numerical analysis and crash studies of bus structures introducing the concept of structural optimisation to the company. For nearly two decades he was responsible for the creation and implementation of technology and innovation policy in Slovenian ministries for science and economy. For 24 years he also worked as a researcher, assistant and professor at different research and education institutions in Slovenia. Currently at Gorenje, he leads the Predevelopment team at the R&D Competence Centre Laundry care.
