Hideo Suzuki is an expert in policy and the environment.

Hideo Suzuki is in charge of environment and was Director-General of the Trade Policy Bureau and Director-General of Industrial Science & Technology and Environment Bureau at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan before he joined the NSSMC. After graduating Kyoto University, he joined the Ministry in 1981 and gained experience in trade policy, industrial policy, environment areas and was also seconded to Ministry of Defense, the UK Government and Ibaraki Prefectural Government.
