Michiharu Kono

Michiharu Kono is an expert in conserving the environment and education.

He is currently conducting work on Environmental Education, ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) for SDGs, and Regional Circular and Ecological Sphere with his deep insights and experiences. Previously, he was the former director of Akan-Mashu National Park in Hokkaido and has led “the project to fully enjoy National Parks” for attracting inbound foreign visitors to National parks in Japan successfully. He has been engaged in management of National Parks, Protection of Rare species, and Conservation of Biodiversity.
