Shinichi Sakai

Professor, Environmental Preservation Research Center, Kyoto University, Japan

Dr. Shinichi Sakai is an expert in material cycles and waste management.

Currently Professor of the Environmental Preservation Research Center of Kyoto University in Japan, his current special fields are “System analysis of material cycles and waste management” and “Persistent chemicals control in the field of waste management”.  He is a member of the advisory committee for the recycling and waste management policy of the Ministry of Environment, Japan.  He is an editor-in-chief of the international Journal of Material Cycles & Waste Management (JMCWM).
