Tetsuro Sakuka

Executive Director of the International Environmental Economic Affairs Department, Environment Bureau, the City of Kitakyushu

Tetsuro Sakuka is an expert in waste management and nature conservation.

He entered the City of Kitakyushu after graduating from Hiroshima University. Among his administrative careers, he has been involved extensively in various environmental measures of the City of Kitakyushu. He has also been dispatched to the Industrial Waste Management Office of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Waste Management Division of the Ministry of the Environment and is also familiar with national policy making such as technical development support for waste disposal facilities.
