Yoshiaki Harada

Minister of the Environment, Japan

Yoshiaki Harada Is the newly elected Minister of the Environment of Japan.

He first joined Nippon Steel Corporation. After that, he joined Ministry of International Trade and Industry. In 1990 he was elected to the House of Representative (HOR) for the first time (39th Election). He has been elected to the HOR many times in various roles, such as Chief Director of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Executive Director of the Committee on budget, Chief Director of the Special Committee on North Korea Abductions and Other Issues and Chairman of the Special Committee on Consumer Affairs. He has also been Chairman, Research Commission on Market Competitiveness Policy, LDP, Chairman, Committee on Analysis of International Information, LDP, Chairman, Personal Committee, LDP, Chairman, Research Commission on Market Competitiveness Policy, LDP, Chief Secretary, Headquarters for Regional Diplomatic and Economic Partnership, LDP and Chairman, Committee on Analysis of International Information, LDP.
