Yoshihiro Yamamoto has extensive experience from the Ministry of the environment.
He joined the Ministry of the environment in 1985. He was appointed as Deputy Director General for Cybersecurity and Information Technology in 2016 and was appointed Deputy Director-General of the Environmental Regeneration and Material Cycles Bureau in 2017. He has been in his current position since 2018.
