Token

A token that describes the thing exchanged between parties in a blockchain.

A digital token can represent value (such as cryptocurrency), right of possession (e.g. non-fungible token — NFT) or investment (such as shares or decision-making power in an organisation). Similar in mechanism to real world tokens.
