Fumiko Hayashi

Fumiko Hayashi has experience from executive and government positions.

She is currently serving her third term as the Mayor of the City of Yokohama. Prior to her current role, she has held various executive positions, including serving as the President of BMW Tokyo, Corp., Chairperson and CEO of The Daiei, Inc., and Operating Officer, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Ms. Hayashi has received several world-class awards and honors, such as the Wall Street Journal’s “The 50 Women to Watch” 2004 and the “ACCJ 2014 Person of the Year” by The American Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
