Event description

This time at HERÄÄMÖ we will deepen our understanding of the concept of a “changemaker”. What do we actually mean when we talk about changemaking and changemakers? Is it possible to learn changemaking? As a guest speaker we welcome Dr Anna Birney (School of System Change).

The event will present the results from the Changemaker mapping carried out by Ashoka and Sitra. The goal of the mapping is to understand the needs of changemakers in Finland, the trends among changemakers and how various parties can support changemakers to further increase their impact on society. We will also discuss changemaking from a broader perspective: what kinds of capabilities does social change demand and how can each of us further develop these skills?

A more detailed event agenda will be announced closer to the date. The event will be held on Zoom. In addition, we will stream the event live on Sitra’s YouTube channel. On Zoom you will be able to discuss with other participants and meet new people. If you would rather focus on listening, or if you do not have the chance to participate in the discussions, please join us on YouTube instead.

The language of the event is English.
