Companies sought for a development programme supporting the internationalisation of sustainable everyday solutions

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The “Fiksu arki goes China” development programme was looking for companies whose products or services help consumers make sustainable everyday choices. The programme’s aim was to highlight these solutions and support their market entry, future development and the efforts to expand their customer base.

Three companies were selected from the applicants to participate in the development programme. The solutions were trialed in the programme, first in Finland and then in the Chinese market. The programme supported internationalisation. Skilled and experienced mentors helped companies to develop their product’s market entry and the efforts to extend the customer base in Finland and China. Trials were conducted with both Finnish and Chinese consumers.

The application period for the development programme began on 5 February 2019 and ended on 12 March 2019. The programme launched in April 2019 and the experiments in China were conducted in May 2019.
